Unforgotten Trip to Sumatra Barat with Best Friends!

Hi! I'm back with a great story to tell to you all!

It's about senior high school study tour trip to Sumatra Barat!

The trip has started at night on Wednesday, 14th of November 2012. There was about five buses to take us to Sumatra Barat depended on five regular science class plus an acceleration class. Because of  the small amount of acceleration class students, so they was divided into five groups and join regular science class. At about 7PM-10PM, we gathered at school and at 10PM we began our trip to Sumatra Barat! In the middle of the trip, our bus stopped because of the engine. After the engine has fixed, we countinued our trip.

At dawn on Thursday, 15th November 2012. We stopped for a while at Bukit Tinggi to take Solat Subuh and have breakfast. Then we continued our trip to Padang. At about 9AM, we arrived at tea garden. We've learned about "How to process tea leaves".

At 12PM we continued our trip to Padang. During the trip, I saw something that I haven't seen in Pekanbaru. Yes, mountain. Such as Merapi Mountain and Singgalang Mountain. The scenery was totally astonished me. So wonderful!

At 5PM we finally arrived at Padang City. The circumstances there was quite different with Pekanbaru. The street was more extensive than Pekanbaru. We stayed for a night in Hayam Wuruk Hotel. Teacher asked us to take rest, but you know that we won't do that.

So we decided to take a walk around the street of Padang. We walked to taplau. Taplau is what people in Padang call the edge of coast. Then we visited a small shop. The scenery was absolutely wonderful! The seashore at night was very amazing! We took photos there and we ordered some drinks and foods. When we enjoyed the dish, suddenly the rain has started to pour. So we paid the dish and hurry back to hotel. In hotel, we took a little rest and then the rain has stopped. Some of us decided to take a walk to Siti Nurbaya Bridge. There were Hardy, Halim, Aga, Agra, Arif, Adit and me. Arif, a friend of us who also a native of Padang City, led us to the bridge. We walked around the street at 12AM enjoyed the ambience of Padang night. We took some photos there.

After that we back to hotel and took a rest because the next day we'll have another journey.

The next day, Friday 16th of November 2012 in the morning, we've packed and left hotel at 9AM. We're off to next holiday destination, Caroline Beach. Caroline Beach is close to estuary. The beach was quite beautiful. We took some photos.

My friend, who knows the beach well, suggested us to go to a little island across the beach. So we paid about Rp15.000,- per head to reach the island. The island was very small. It was only a heap of sand. But the few was beautiful. We played sand and some of friend swam. After got tired, we back to the beach. But some of my friend didn't contented. So they decided to rent a banana boat.

We've arrived at Graha Muslim Hotel at 5PM. We took the room key and put our bag in it. We rest for a while and prepared to walk around Jam Gadang at night. At 7PM, after praying, a whole class went to Jam Gadang on foot. There we could buy souvenir of Jam Gadang. Things went uncomfortable when Muthia has gottten scared after hearing about one of acceleration students got possessed. So we'd been there not for long and decided to back to hotel. At hotel we've gathered in a room and played cards till late after Mr. Budi, a physic teacher, asked us to go sleep.

The next day, Saturday 17th of November 2012, at 8AM after got breakfast we continued our trip. We went to snack shop to buy original snack from Bukit Tinggi. We also went to traditional market and bought some of souvenir. Close to the market, there were a beautiful scenery of Singgalang Mountain. Too bad, I didn't take any photos there:( Then we back to bus and went home immediately. At noon, our bus engine has stopped. So we stopped by at a small house and waited until it fixed. It took very long time to fix it. So at night our teacher call another bus from other class to back to where we stopped by.

At 1AM we arrived at school and got back to our home.

What a trip it was! Sooooo unforgottable trip with my best friends! I won't forget you and don't forget me! I love you, my friends!
